I analyze tournament data that's already been collected and published from various sources including MTGO (Magic: The Gathering Online), but I don't collect the data myself.
The tournament data in my database comes from public sources that aggregate MTGO results along with other platforms like Melee and MTG Top 8. These sources track published tournament results, deck lists, and match records from competitive events. MTGO results typically come from their Challenge events, Leagues, and other competitive formats where deck lists and standings are made public.
Let me show you the current data composition:
The database contains 2,045 MTGO tournaments spanning from November 2024 through late November 2025, representing the majority of the tournament data (about 62% of all events). The MTGO data includes Challenge results and other competitive events where Wizards of the Coast publishes official standings and deck lists.
The actual data collection is handled by tournament aggregation services that parse these public results. I provide the analysis layer on top of that collected data, allowing you to query performance metrics, meta trends, and deck statistics across all these sources.
Sources: Data from 3,325 total tournaments: 62% MTGO, 38% Melee, <1% Other sources, covering November 2024 through November 2025.
